This is great news!
So more and more people will finally realise that running Mac OS X only is far, far, far cheaper, more stabile and less troublesome.
Way to go Microsoft, we love you! Please make Business Edition three times more expensive too, make software registration five time more complicated and annoying as hell, include more ironcurtain restrictions, so people can buy more and more Macs.

Wrong. Of course, sequestered in your teaching post-graduate architectural world you may not see the wood for the trees and in the readily-accepted use of the word, 'creatives' do not include those who use AutoCAD.

Laser tracking is excellent. I use the Logitech MX1000 and it's perfect.
However, the real problem with the mighty mouse is not the technology, it's the materials. The plastic is too "sticky" to work with, so when moving the mouse the feeling is not smooth. They should change the substances to allow a better flow of the mouse on a given surface.

I just updated mine and there is a noticeable difference in speed with this update. It is much faster in opening applications and text messages.
I'm noticing a little quicker general UI navigation, but the third party apps still don't show their launch animation unless opened first, exited, and then launched again. Only once loaded into the memory can you go from app to home screen to app and see the full animation.
Yet, oddly, Apple's stock apps are entirely unaffected.

You have a point, but Apple didn't necessarily want an exclusive carrier. That does nothing for Apple's business. AT&T obviously paid for Apple's exclusivity.
Um.... I am pretty sure that Apple gets a higher subsidy from having an exclusive carrier agreement, lowering the cost to their customers, yet still keeping margins on the device high.
Someone to correct me if I am wrong.

I wonder why they've moved it to a later date?
I would have to say its because apple was in production fixing the Iphone 4 for 8 months just to get the white one in stores and i would have to say that put them behind on production of a new phone.
