I'm curious why you would automatically upgrade at all, since you have an iPhone 4 already. What do you expect out of version 5 that you can't do now? I'm not being critical, if that's what you want go for it. I'm just curious why some people plan to upgrade every time, sight unseen.
I have a rare disease that tells my brain that I must have the latest and greatest... It nags at me until I obtain the newest update. I've seen doctors all over the world but none have been able to cure me :p

$20/Year isn't bad at all. That's about $1.67 per month. However, unless they have a 'must-have' feature, I'll be sticking with AudioGalaxy to stream my iTunes library to my iPhone via 3G/WiFi.
That also depends on how much storage I get. My library is currently around 115GB. If they do what they're talking about (just have Apple's service look at your library and load tracks), that would be fine. That's what Lala used to do.

Was unfortunately one of the MANY who didn't get anything today...
Originally thought about the 32GB 3G, but ultimately decided I wanted the 64 3G. Sadly, was waiting at the South Coast Apple Store and slowly heard them announce the 3G models all disappearing one by one.
Waited for 3 hours... not the longest I've waited, but still disappointing. Oh well, Online Ordering here I come!

Here in Phoenix I have not had too many issues. i get full strength signal most of the time and almost always 3g. however there are a few places i have that and still cannot get data, luckily its not often, and usually its in the evening which is probably heavy usage times.

Sounds like a "who cares?" kind of thing, but that's actually kind of a big deal if it creates case fragmentation. Not good. Hopefully inaccurate.
I don't know what is more pathetic, the fact they reported on this or the fact that they would think it was the same thickness and a total lack of material science knowledge.

Looks ok, I don't mind it. I really don't care that much about looks more than functionality. I want something more like Outlook. On an exchange server Outlook does wonders. Email, calender, and contacts all unified in one program that offers great communication with the universal address book on the server.

1) Is this a permanent move to a Fall Release of the iPhone?
I'm guessing 'yes' simply because I think "Because they want it to be in the fall" is the one reason for moving it that makes the most sense to me. I think that's the whole point.
3) Does this affect the timing of iOS's release, which has traditionally been released with the new iPhone and has been centered around the iPhone's hardware?
I have less reason to believe it, but I sure hope that iOS 5 still comes out in the summer. I'd like to see iOS updates divorced from hardware updates, just like it is with the Mac.

Idk why people say that the update affects only gamers. It affects almost everyone. OpenGLs, 3D, movies, etc.

When we say "enough" and "runs fine" we are thinking of apps that require minimal standards. Man, when we are talking about at least quality games such as WoW, SC2, and MMO's, the difference between 320m and the Intel GPU is the difference between "playable and not playable"

Like millions of other Mac owners, I don't play any games on my Mac and haven't for years. With iOS devices and consoles being so much cheaper, it just doesn't make any sense to me to pimp-up my Mac for gaming.

Nonsense. It means nothing of the sort. Check back in 6 months, 3 months or even 1 month and see a) how many ppl are still using it, and b) how many ppl are buying it once the first blush of excitement is over.

I like what you have going on here. Great detail on the girl / hair too, bokeh is pleasing and vibrant. Epic shoot locale. Tell her to stand up straighter next time and I think it would be flawless. Fill light could go one notch down too.

Thanks. I need to warm up her skin tone as I made her too pale. The way she stands is the way she stands. She has poor posture, but next shoot I'll have her stand straight. As for the clothing, I wanted her to wear something to match the environment and I think it worked well.
