Gus: I thought about storing them as both music and data (I've got room right now, as I've only got around 9GB of music), but I decided that wouldn't work well as a long-term solution.
As of right now, I'm keeping a "data" copy of all of the music on my old external hard drive for backup purposes.

I know the music isn't the best, its just recorded in the only available room in our house. I'm 14... feel free to give me feedback!

Post some code for us to know what you are trying to do.
You do know that the accelerometer output consists of 3 values for the X Y and Z components of acceleration, right?
See: http://www.switchonthecode.com/tutorials/iphone-tutorial-reading-the-accelerometer for example. (Google search, no experience with the tutorial).

You mean they haven't already built in Zune functions into their Windows 7 phones??? Microsoft is way behind (their copycat product plans).

It works fine from here, using Comcast.
Ya I've tried it on other systems and all works good. I seem to really be the only person having this problem the administrator said. Everything else I try to do works good as well, I mean websites. Have you ever heard of this happening before to other sites?

Ya its weird because I copied the code directly from a html page that worked fine and pasted it into the php file. I guess I can try and use Dust Me Selectors and get rid of unused css ....but it never seems to work to great for me.
Its made so that when the user clicks submit it shows that but I guess I could make it so that when they click submit they could go directly tot he html page that worked?

var browser=navigator.appName
var b_version=navigator.appVersion
var version=parseFloat(b_version)
if ((browser=="Safari"||browser=="Konqueror"||browser=="Microsoft Internet Explorer")
&& (version>=0)) {alert("Your browser environment is not fully supported!")}}
Stick an alert in your code to test the return value of navigator.appName, or in your case the 'browser' variable... you should find this is actually "Netscape" for the Safari browser, hence your problem.
check out the Safari FAQ (http://developer.apple.com/Internet/safari/safari_faq.html)
hope this helps!

When an app is rejected by Apple's App Store review process, do they tell you all the issues that's wrong with the app? Or do they stop after finding the first issue that's wrong?
My experience has always been that they stop at the first issue. Then there can be a whole series of fixes, submissions, reviews, and rejections. Each iteration brings you closer to approval but never with any feel for how close you might be. But your mileage may vary.

Can I remind you that internal guide links should be done with just the page name and double ['s (i.e [[)
Also I think have 2 parts is more confusing than 1 big part. Thoughts?

I was in 2nd period (Eng :( ) in 6th grade.
Weird I was In the 6th grade 2nd hour but was in social studies. It was just weird becuase earlyer that summer I was there. 1/3 the people in my school had no clue what the towers were before 9/11 so someof them were acting so immature ( :mad: ) while others were crying.

Finder:
- Have an address bar so I can copy and paste file locations. Really useful to a developer, especially with working between the Finder and Terminal.
- Have a way of seeing how much disk space directories and their children take up, both with number sizes and graphically.
- Stop freaking putting every downloaded file in the bottom right of my Desktop, on top of the last downloaded file. Put the icon anywhere else on the free half of my Desktop.
- If I empty the trash, I expect to see that volume's space taken or available value update right away for its icon, on the Desktop.
- Tabbed Finder windows?
And what about all the really simple things. Like if I select a bunch of files (eg: 8 photos), I want to be able to see the size (in Bytes) of the 8 photos I selected. Right now, Finder tells me that I have selected 8 files, but also tells me the total HD space remaining rather than the size of the 8 files.
Just some very simple things, Apple. PathFinder works so much better than Finder. Too bad it was so much slower than Finder. :rolleyes:

Bit of advice needed please. I'm in need of a system for creating web galleries that's, to put it bluntly, foolproof. What I'm really after is something that conforms to the following criteria:
 Free.
 Will run on a Linux server (can use SQL/PHP etc).
 Will allow me to upload the images to the correct directory via FTP, and run a script to create the gallery. (I could just manage to get my computer illiterate Dad to master this, as I've spent the past two years getting him to learn basic FTP.)
 It doesn't have to resize the images on the server, for sake of uploading speed that will be done on the local computer before uploading.
 Will conform to a pre-defined template once the images are uploaded and the script is run (basically foolproof).
If anyone could direct me to anything which sounds like it's suitable, it would be appreciated. Google searches have not proved fruitful, it's one of those things where finding a useful search string is incredibly difficult.

upgrading the ram is a must 1 gb is a bit low today and as your mini has a intel gma 950 its shared graphics which makes it even more important to upgrade ram PC2-5300 DDR2 sodimm your mini can take 1 gb in one slot and 2 gb in the other so 3 gb ram in total , so if you got the money upgrade to 3 gb , if not just upgrade to 2 gb thats should improve things significantly , if you really want to spend something as you need to open the mini anyway to upgrade the ram ,upgrade to a 7200rpm harddrive

Hi
I'm trying to learn how NSFileManger works and I want to test out some methods with files that i have created. Let say the file name is called "testFile". Now the question is where do i put the file, in which folder? I tried the fileExistsAtPath method and it keeps giving me the file does not exist message. By the way, im using Xcode 4
Thank you for your precious time.
Hint: To do anything with a file, most operating system functions will want the complete path. That might be something like "/Users/freeme007/testFile" or "/Users/freeme007/Documents/testFile".
I'd have a look at the methods NSHomeDirectory and stringByAppendingPathComponent. They might come handy. And it would be very, very useful if you can figure out how to find their documentation.

Apple will probably update iPods with a slight tweak to their DRM, breaking any music people have downloaded from anyone other than Apple.
For sure, and hope sooner rather than later. I love what that guy did for the deCSS stuff but hate him for messing with my Apple:mad:
Apple leagal better kick the crap out of that guy until he stops for a little while at least.:cool:
The more he exploits it the worse it looks on Apple and the less content people will want to put on it. (In some ways)
But Apple should have the right to keep iPod/iTS closed from others is they want to.

I did not expect this.
MS should understand that it's the truth. They copied Mac OS X SO MUCH. That's what they get...

It's always funny to see stuff like this. The same person says:
"I think it will be out soon"
"I don't think it will be out soon"
"There's no way to know when it'll be out"
So how do you say you think it will, won't, and don't know? I'd recommend that if you don't have an affirmative or a negative answer, don't speculate. It's very confusing for those new to jailbreaking to see people who have zero ties to the developers whatsoever chiming in saying they think there will be a short term or distant term release. If you don't have FIRST HAND knowledge, don't speculate without providing evidence of how you came to make such statement.
Signed,

I agree. It is annoying hearing the same people chime in with no ties to the developers. At least post a link if you know something we don't know. Otherwise, they need to stop with the personal opinions.
