Post the code that doesn't work.
1. Describe what you expected to happen.

I thought it was dead.
The reports of it's death were greatly exaggerated, partly due to a misunderstanding about the intent of NeoOffice.
Hmm, blatant misrepresentation and sensationalism on Slashdot, whould'a thunk
Basically the developers had said that the Aqua native version was not going to be under active development, because they didn't have the resources and thought NeoOffice was the way to go. The X11 version was always being worked on.
I think the NeoOffice developers (both of them! Have to give those two a huge amount of thanks for what they've done), have since worked something out to make sure an Aqua native version is not permanently shelved either.

There is a very slim chance anything goes wrong with the iMac by installing RAM. If anything, you could always re-install the Apple-supplied RAM and have them service it - they would not be able to reject your warranty. I could only see them voiding the warranty if you physically damaged the computer when upgrading, and there is a very slim chance of that. After all, 8 pages of the iMac manual are dedicated to helping a user add more memory.
Little benefit to buying RAM from Apple as you can get more for a cheaper price (like OWC). Most include a lifetime warranty.
As per the AppleCare Agreement: "An AirPort Extreme Card, an AirPort Express or AirPort Extreme Base Station, Time Capsule, an Apple-branded DVI to ADC display adapter, Apple RAM modules and MacBook Air SuperDrive are also covered under APP if used with the compatible Covered Equipment and originally purchased by you up to two years before your Mac purchase or during the term of your APP."

To be honest, I have my doubts about how many contacts Nick & Co have left. It doesn't take that far of a leap to come up with these conclusions without an Apple leak. In fact it takes a lot of common sense. The lack of a full consumer productivity app to replace Appleworks is a disgrace. Windows users are able to get light word processing, spreadsheet, database functions, and presentation functions from MS Works. iWork has more promise, but it's incomplete, costs extra, and with Pages the interface works much better with creative page layout type projects than it does word processing. So, what could be done to fix iWork? You need to make it complete with at least a spreadsheet app with a database being a definite plus. Apple dropped the ball in '06 so it has to come in '07. If it doesn't, someone really needs to be fired because it'll look like they're either clueless or incompetent. As for Pages, the easiest way to keep it as a good light page layout app, but make it a better word processor is to introduce some kind of mode. Click a tab and it transforms to a traditional word processor type interface.

Interesting "let's calm down" comments from Gizmodo (http://www.gizmodo.com/gadgets/cellphones/tmobile-and-apple-deal-in-the-works-we-think-not-206284.php) - with which I happen to agree.

I think that's pretty normal. Apps just start to use more RAM the longer you keep them up, whether or not people admit it.
For example, after Safari is open for a couple weeks, it uses much more RAM. Of course a large part of that is me having 52 tabs open, but I notice that while Safari uses 1.66 GB now, restarting Safari completely (and restoring all of my tabs via the extension Glims), uses 1.01 GB of RAM. Clearly, having Safari open causes an accumulation of RAM. I don't know if this is because browsing various sites causes those sites to be stored in RAM at all (I always thought they were just stored in the cache however).
I've noticed this with other programs too, like iTunes and iChat. Opening iChat can use maybe 60MB and it can rise to 100MB. iTunes can rise from 60-70MB to around 100-130MB.
I don't notice a slowdown really, but that is because I have 8GB of RAM. Nevertheless, if the RAM usage is important to you, you can use some apps over others. I found Adium uses consistently less RAM than iChat. You can quit out of iTunes when you aren't playing music. I'm not sure about Chrome, but maybe closing tabs will reduce the RAM occupied by that tab since Chrome sandboxes each tab. Either way, I don't know if I blame Snow Leopard. Did this happen in Leopard at all? I just figure it's because of lazy application developers who use the wealth of RAM available on computers today to be lazy with optimizing performance and resource intensiveness.

How do you expect me to remember where I was Sept 11? It's not like the day JFK died or anything... oh wait it was... hmm... I must've been walking down Elliot Ave. in Seattle when it happened. I didn't find out what had happened until a 1/2 hour later when I got to class only to find out the school was shut down since it was right next to the WTC in Seattle.

Those 2 mentioned were the lower default resolutions and I believe the others were 1280 x 720, 1280 x 768, 1368 x 768. I like the 1280 x 720 but most recent games only get maybe 8 - 15 fps at that resolution.

I have been waiting for a major upgrade to the cinema displays since I got my laptop in June 2006 - since waiting like the rest of you.
I wonder if eventually the iMac will be thinner than the current cinema displays, then they will have to upgrade.
To be honest, it doesn't need to be a major upgrade, take the price down by a third and half the thickness of the screen and I would be happy.
One day my friends...one day

Yes, if you are a student eligible for the Student free iPod offer. Did you purchase the eligible Mac on or before 9/24/05? You can just say that you purchased from the Apple Store Online. Be sure that you cut out the UPC code on the Mac and iPod (that is if you have it already.) You must cut out the cardboard of the box along with the UPC label attached.

I was in my dorm's bathroom, getting ready to go to class that day. Some people in the bathroom had heard about the first plane, and were telling us - nothing concrete, I just remember hearing about a plane, and the World Trade Center. I went into the common area, turned the tv on to the news, and saw the replay of the second plane hitting. I didn't quite understand it, and went to class and in every class that day we either listened to the radio (my first class was an art studio, that's how I learned about the third and fourth planes) or the professor talked about it to some extent.

Dropping the dope down on 2 million MR posts baby!
Yeah, yeah, I know, pretty uncreative. But it was a real bitch to get it down to 24KB. [edit: 20KB now] :) I was gonna go with a g**tse-themed avatar, but unfortunately came to my senses. Lucky for you guys.

A lot of the time stories are given negative ratings for absolute no reason and the ratings don't serve their purpose very well. I personally think either the ratings system should be removed all together or there should only be a "like"/"positive" option.

This is a really short sighted and black and white viewpoint.
1. Even games that are better with physical controls can be implemented to still be fun on the iphone. Sure, they probably are just going to be ports over from other devices (hey, let's see if we can pick up a few more sales), but they still are fun to play (I've played Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia on my phone. Both are fun and easy to get over the only having a virtual joystick).
2. Shortsighted because this completely ignores the fact there are many games that you really don't need physical buttons or the gameplay is actually better using something else:

I can't handle this.
iPad 2 without jailbreak, suuuuuuuucks.
Yeah yeah,faster....thinner.
But with no jailbreak, im looking at my friends with the first iPad and being actually envious.
I feel like a addict. I'll kiss a man for my jailbreak.
I know people are working hard to get it done, and there is no one who appreciates their work more than I.
Bless you jailbreakers.
Jesus smiles upon you.
Yeah right, I'm certain Jesus is for Jailbreak  :p

Guys - before you go crazy, its not going to work. Even if you strip DRM you still can't install it on non JB ipads. In order to install the app and have it working you still need to modify mobileframe work.

I used these guys for a professional resume (VP level) a few years ago. They do technical resumes as well. As I recall, they will do a re-write within 60 days if it's not working out for you.

+1 - This would be about the same price as paying for 3 months of 3G service, so it will balance out in the long run :-) HERE (http://www.amazon.com/Apple-MB321LL-A-Airport-Express/dp/B0015YJOK2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1303226759&sr=8-1) is the Amazon link..$94 free shipping.
Now there is an idea...thanks!
