Good evening ladies and gents, had a quick question...
I have an entire website with interactive buttons and options (3.4gb) that is in HTML format. Safari will not open this (JavaScript error, use Internet Explorer) and Adobe won't open this. The file is not corrupt, it will open in Parallels just fine. I ideally want to copy this ENTIRE website to a PDF format, but I need to make sure I am keeping all interactive buttons active as reprogramming is simply not an option.
I will tell you the options I was trying...
Using Adobe Acrobat - I tried opening the HTML file and copying everything with Web Capture... this doesn't work.
I have also looked into uploading the entire file to a website and than capturing with Adobe, that doesn't work.
Does anyone know how I can make this happen? There are over 300,000 "files" on this website, so need to keep it in tact. It is a car service manual with interactive buttons and tutorials.
Thanks

What do you mean by 5 extra lines?
Probably a poor choice of words from my side.
I mean that the last 5 lines of the page were transferred to an extra page.

Mmmm yes. Nothing like sticking $5 into a machine to watch Pac Man eat your virtual nachos. :(

Most of us didn't need an Apple rep to tell us it was a fake. Spymac will always be disreputable in my mind because of that incident.

Sounds plausible, except for the delay.
Guessing Apple will re announce the white iPhone 4 on WWDC and compensate the delay with adding the A5. And hey, the black one will get it too. Sounds cheap, but anything is better than my good ol' 3G right now.

Centris 660av, PowerMac 6100, Performa 6116, Quadra 660av, same form factor. These have been desirable systems in the past, but good luck selling a machine with no hard drive.

This is a total no-brainer. T-Mobile doesn't have it's own network, it rents its airtime from Cingular... Apple and Cingular are already in bed. It's a trickle-down effect... T-Mobile wants their own iPhone. Not surprising, really. (and yeah, release the Cracken! (err.. iPhone!)...
T-Mobile is an independent network. It and Cingular have rented infrastructure to one another at various times in the past to mutually help with each other's coverage, but T-Mobile is a real mobile phone operator. (It's what used to be Voicestream.)
I'm not entirely sure why people keep propogating this myth. It makes no sense on the face of it.

very interesting, now have to figure out how to create one... thanks for sharing...
Tripod is a must.
I take a photo with the desired effect like motion blur.
take a video clip. (i use a nikon d3100 with 1080p video at 24fps)
Use quicktime to select a section of the video for the motion, copy and paste to a new clip and "export as image sequence"
Now, in photoshop, resize the original image to match the size of the video frames.
overlay the individual frames, delete everything within the frames that you don't want to be moving
create individual animation frames and export as a GIF

I'd like to think the lack of posts about the Arrowhead Mall means that the line won't be so bad. :)
Thinking about stopping by there a little later this morning. Would appreciate any updates from folks who have lived to tell the tale this morning.

What about a reinstall?
That's the first thing I tried.. I installed over. I tried uninstalling first by dragging Safari to AppZapper but it "refused" to zap it... I know I can change the preferences but now that I think of, force-removing Safari is not a good idea
I also tried disabling all extensions... still the same problem

Doubt we will see a jb for the latest os and the ipad2. Why bother? In a little over a month, iOS 5 will be out.
I honestly don't think we will see iOS 5 until the iPhone comes out. Which with the release of the white iPhone 4 probably won't happen until Q4 2011 or Q1 2012.

Tired of Apple's locked ecosystem
Switching to Android.
I travel to China half of the year, I NEED and unlocked phone so that i can pop in my Chinese SIM card when i'm there.
iPhone is just not for me.
FU Apple.... so much for Freedom in the US.
Yeah, Android phones can be unlocked relatively easily. I unlock Captivates and Vibrants a lot without having to go back to the original carriers.

So in theory Apple wont release Bluray until they release compatible displays. We could be waiting a long time before we see Bluray as an option then on Macs!
Sometime this year... Montevina MBP with Blu Ray burner, HDCP ACDs with HDMI and Blu Ray drive option on Mac Pro, then. :D

The entrance you ant is the one by gregs and hsbc. It's open at about 6am ;). If you want in earlier go down to the abbey entrance to the left is a set of stairs. Go down them and cross the service road. Through the fire exit and up the stairs and follow the corridoor. It comes out bang opposite the apple store.
is the abbey entrance where burger king is?
cheers for the info

He's talking about the OpenGL update that allows one processor to deal with OpenGL instructions whilst the other does, um, other stuff. It supposedly gives OpenGL performance as much as a 2x boost in speed.
I'm guessing it only works with Mac with multiple processing cores.
It's rather pointless without multiple processors/cores, so I'd say that's a safe assumption.
