I really dont get how people are not seeing this in the photo...its blatantly obvious that its bigger. Take a look at my 'digitally enhanced' (HA!) version:

Your arrow is pointing at the back edge of the phone because it's slightly raised.
If you zoom in on the photo your can also tell the white iPhone is maybe quarter of a mm further forward. It's only a pixel or two on the photo.

You do know everyone who has a changelog is under NDA, don't you? Why don't you just go look at the change log?
Actually apple often doesn't directly post changelogs for devs either. It's more a list of where they want you to test with many releases. They're kind of famous for that...

I still think it's the same size after staring at the photos. Light/white objects always look bigger than they are compared to black. Just look at a while aluminium mountain bike frame compared to a black one, they always look fatter.

Multiprocessor support is way way cool. That could make me throw away my work machine and just keep working with my Mac Pro :-)
Well... another thing that stops me from working with virtual machines is the lack of support for multi-monitor setups... I can't return to developing software with just one... so let's hope VMWare addresses this sometime, hopefully soon. I would really love to have my Mac with 3 monitors instead of my Pc with 2 and my mac with one... :-)

Apple has great products, but we are going to be experiencing more than a recession. Donald Trump stated that what was going to happen in North America is going to make Russia look like a picnic during world war 2. The CEO of Wall-Street stated two years ago that there will be a world economic crash worse than what happened during the 1930's due to the amount of debt. The European Union Banks stated 1.5 years ago that they were preparing their banks for a world economic collapse. Unfortunately most of us are living the status quo and do not want to acknowledge that our way of life is going to drastically change. Unfortunately even a company as great as Apple will not be able to retain the level of what the stocks are worth even at todays low. My advice is pay of your debts... sell your stocks while you still have money, sell your home and then when the collapse occurs then invest.

I can't believe people watch this show. I tried watching it to see what the fuss is all about.....it seems like such a formulaic cheesy sitcom.

The best way to avoid unintentional purchases is to use the Shopping Cart. That way, you can consolidate and review your selections carefully and buy them when you're ready.
For the record, Apple removed the Shopping Cart feature when iTunes 9 (http://www.macrumors.com/2009/09/09/apple-releases-itunes-9-new-media-syncing-options-genius-mixes-iphone-app-organization/) came out last September. You have to use the less convenient Wish List (http://www.apple.com/itunes/how-to/index.html#store-wishlist) feature now.

Looks completely different to me. ;)
How are they different? They are both round with a 3D look and have a triangle with the same alignment and angles in the middle. They even perform the same function, to start playback of media content. Are you really going to nitpick about the colors? That's not different enough, Apple should definetely sue.

Nice idea and interesting. best bet would be a collaboration with Panasonic. After all since Pioneer stopped production of the best flast screen TVs ever and Panasonic employing those engineers who got laid of from Pioneer, their new 2011 panels are simply the best platform for it. if they put it into a Samsung or alike then no thanks. panny s are reasonably priced.

Little security experts who cry exploit.
Thanks to the media jumping at anything that looks like it could be a security problem with Mac OS X, we now have security experts who are willing to make half-baked claims to draw attention to themselves. But even more frightening is the fact that the Mac community isn't a target because it is a good target or an easy target... no, we are a target because it is the most notable target these days.
So, how do we fix this?
Frankly, I don't know.
The security experts are going to call anyone who questions their work names, and they seem bent on avoiding any consultation with real Mac experts before issuing press releases. I would have thought that these types of Pons & Fleischmann tactics would have died out on their own, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Part of the problem is that erroneous reports aren't being covered as widely as the initial claims.
The other problem is that even after real, working exploits start showing up in the wild, we are a long ways off from being anywhere near where the Windows community is today. In fact, we'd be a long ways off from where the Mac community was at the peak of it's virus period (how many here actually recall those days?).
The only thing I can suggest (which I doubt anyone will follow) is to avoid the hysteria. When a real threat emerges, you'll most likely hear about it long before you are actually in any danger from it.

It seems that nobody ever likes anything successful.. Look at poor mcdonalds,coca cola,Ford and now apple and its ipod.... All the biggest comapanies always get in trouble. BMW and their idrive, ford and the firestone blowouts, apple and hearing loss... while dont people stop being jealous and peee off.
I think, if big companies or successful products are being "attacked" it's because a lot of people are using their products and at a certain point those companies have to have a much bigger responsibility towards the enduser.
Because as more people are using the iPod as more people are in danger using it the wrong way and suffer from hearing loss.
Of course a lot of people sue big companies just for the sake of money and in North America the whole thing got out of hand, but I believe, that big companies have to make sure that people don't get hurt because of their products.
